What we don’t do

This website does not run advertising trackers, social-media pixels, or third-party analytics scripts. We do not set cookies. We do not embed maps, videos, or chat widgets that report your visit to someone else; the one embedded tool is the benefits checker described below. Reading about anxiety, ADHD or trauma on this site does not tell any advertising network that you did.

What our hosting provider sees

The site is served by Cloudflare, which — like any web host — processes your IP address and the pages you request in order to deliver them and protect the site from abuse. We use only aggregate, non-identifying traffic counts from the host. Cloudflare’s own privacy policy governs its processing.

The consultation request form

When you request a consultation, the form opens on Google Forms under our Google Workspace account, which is covered by a HIPAA business associate agreement. It asks for your name, how to reach you, and what you’re looking for. Please don’t include detailed health information — we’ll talk in your consultation. Responses are stored in our Workspace account and are handled as protected health information from that point.

The benefits checker on the Fees page

The out-of-network benefits checker on our Fees page is provided by Thrizer, our billing partner, and loads inside a frame from thrizer.com. Anything you type into it — name, date of birth, insurer, member ID — goes to Thrizer, not to this website, and is handled under Thrizer’s business associate agreement with us and Thrizer’s privacy policy. It is the only third-party code on the site.

Calling, texting and emailing us

Our phone and text line runs on a HIPAA-covered platform. Email to our practice domain is covered by our Workspace business associate agreement. Ordinary text messages and email are not encrypted end to end, so please use them for scheduling and logistics rather than clinical detail.

Links to other services

Links to Thrizer (out-of-network benefit checks), our client portal, Google Maps, Google reviews, and Psychology Today take you to those companies’ sites, which have their own privacy policies. We don’t receive information about what you do there beyond what they choose to share with us as their customer.

Children

This site is intended for adults and for parents inquiring on behalf of teens. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.
