Not sure who to see?

That’s what the free consultation is for. Tell us what’s going on and we’ll tell you honestly which of us fits — or, if neither does, who in the area would.

How we work as a practice

Most people who reach us already understand their patterns. What they haven’t been able to do is change how they respond when it matters. That gap — between knowing and doing — is the work, and we draw on CBT, ACT, Internal Family Systems and EMDR to fit the person rather than run a template.

Every clinician here is trained in EMDR. At most practices, EMDR means one clinician and a waitlist. Here, when trauma work is what you need, you start it with the therapist you already trust.

More than one set of eyes. Your care isn’t one person’s opinion. We consult regularly with each other and with senior licensed clinicians on the work we do, so what you get is a practice thinking about you rather than a solo act. It also keeps us honest: if something is outside what we do well, someone in the room says so.

Private pay, on purpose. It keeps decisions about your care between you and your counselor, avoids putting a diagnosis in your record on day one, and means no surprise bill from an insurer. Sessions are $150 for individuals and $200 for couples, with superbills for out-of-network reimbursement and a sliding scale by application. Fees and insurance, in full.

Come as you are. Each of us holds a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from a CACREP-accredited program. We’re committed to equitable care — client autonomy, justice, veracity, fidelity — and this is a safe space for people of all gender expressions, sexual and affectional orientations, ability statuses, religions, and ethnic and racial backgrounds.

Ready when you are.

A free 15-minute conversation. We’ll tell you honestly whether we’re the right fit — and if we’re not, we’ll help you find who is.
