Slow down. Feel understood. Then change something.
Feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, relationship stress, or major life changes can leave you feeling drained, disconnected, or stuck. You may find yourself overthinking, struggling with boundaries, or balancing cultural values with your own needs. I offer a warm, judgment-free space where you can slow down, feel understood, and process what you’re experiencing — without having to explain or justify your cultural background. Together, we can build greater clarity, confidence, and meaningful change.
I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and parents navigating anxiety, depression, relationships, and life transitions.
Where I’m coming from
I’m the daughter of Indian immigrants. I don’t need the background explained — the expectations you absorbed without anyone stating them, the way achievement became the family’s shared project, the loneliness of being close to people you can’t be fully honest with. Culture isn’t a separate topic we get to on week four; it’s in the room because it’s in your life. And the goal is never to choose between yourself and your family. Usually it’s finding a version where you get to exist inside the relationship rather than around it. More about South Asian therapy.
How I work
We work on what you actually came in with: the anxiety, the low mood, the relationship that isn’t working, the decision you can’t make. I’m direct when it helps and gentle when it’s needed, and I’ll tell you honestly what I see. I draw on CBT, person-centered work and EMDR depending on what fits you, in person at our Longwood office or by video anywhere in Florida.
The first step
If you’ve been putting this off because of everything you’d have to explain first — you don’t have to. Book a free 15-minute consultation and we’ll see if it feels like a fit.
