Online therapy across Florida

The same counselors, the same work, from wherever you are in the state. For people far from Longwood, short on time, or who simply do better talking from their own space.

Same work, different room

Online therapy isn’t a lesser version of the real thing. It’s the real thing, on a screen. The relationship, the structure, the tools you leave with — all of it travels. What changes is that you don’t.

We see clients by secure video across Florida: the Orlando metro, Tampa Bay, Jacksonville, Gainesville, the Space Coast, South Florida, the Panhandle. For some of them we’re the closest counselor who does what they’re looking for. For others, we’re twenty minutes away and it’s Tuesday.

What we offer online

  • Anxiety, depression and ADHD therapy for teens and adults.
  • EMDR — adapted for video, with in-person sessions available when we think they’d go better.
  • South Asian therapy with Hirangi, statewide — because finding a therapist who already knows shouldn’t take a three-hour drive.
  • Teen counseling, with parents involved the same way they would be in person.
  • Couples counseling, together or on separate screens.

How it works

You book a free consultation. If we’re a fit, you get a link before each session through our secure client portal; there’s nothing to install. Sessions are $150, and you get a superbill afterward exactly as you would in person. We ask two things of you: be physically in Florida, and be somewhere private.

Emergencies. Video sessions are not a crisis service. In an emergency call 911; for a mental health crisis, call or text 988. At the start of online work we’ll confirm your location and an emergency contact, so that if something happens mid-session we can get you help where you actually are.

Online tends to suit you if

  • You’re in Florida but not near Seminole County
  • A drive plus an hour doesn’t fit the week
  • You open up more from your own space
  • You’re looking for something specific — EMDR, South Asian therapy — that’s hard to find locally
  • You want to mix online and in-person sessions

FAQ

Common questions

Who can do online therapy with you?

Anyone physically located in Florida at the time of the session. That’s a licensing rule, not a preference: our counselors are registered in Florida, so you need to be in the state when we meet. If you travel, tell us and we’ll plan around it.

Is video therapy as effective as in person?

For most concerns — anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship patterns — research finds outcomes broadly comparable, and many people open up more from their own space. For some trauma work we may recommend in-person sessions, and we’ll tell you if we think that would go better for you.

What platform do you use, and is it secure?

Sessions run through our practice-management system’s built-in video, which is HIPAA-secure and covered by a business associate agreement. No app to install: you get a link, you click it. We don’t use consumer video tools for sessions.

Do you offer EMDR online?

Yes. Over video we use on-screen visual cues or self-administered tapping in place of in-room bilateral stimulation, with broadly comparable results for most people. More about EMDR.

Is the price the same?

Yes — $150 for individual sessions and $200 for couples, online or in person. Superbills work the same way. Fees and insurance.

What do I need for a good online session?

A private space with a door that closes, decent wifi, and headphones if the walls are thin. Sitting in a parked car works in a pinch. What doesn’t work: driving, or a room with other people in it.
